The concert at St Stephen's Church, Lindley on Coronation day was a great success. The programme featured a number of well known pieces by the band and three memorable solos from Diane Wynne (Oboe, "Gabriel's Oboe"), Rob Gee (Fluegel, "The Way We Were") and Andy Lumb (Trumpet, "Mr Trumpet").
To celebrate the coronation a number of traditional coronation items were added to the programme including "Crown Imperial" and "Pomp and Circumstance" (aka Rule Britannia). To see excerpts from the concert head over to our YouTube channel
